The weather only cooperated 50% of the time but the coon hunters from Ohio and seven other states didn't let that stop them. They responded with 43 dogs on a Friday that saw rain all day and night. Saturday the weather was alot better and 44 coon hunters came out. (87 dogs in two nights)

The Nova Coon Club was well prepared. The ladies did a fine job in the kitchen and Hunt Directors Eddie Casper and Loyd Mullins had more than enough judges and guides on hand.

22 casts in 2 nights and every one of them coming in with plus points and not one single question on any card. How's that for sportsmanship!
