2010 Little World Championship

The First Night of the ACHA Little World Championship held in Hawesville, KY was held last night with 65 dogs hitting the woods looking for that first cast win to get into the final four. The weather here in Hawesville, located on the Kentucky Indiana state line on the Ohio river has been beautiful but they have had no rain here in the last three months and the ground is dry as powder. Almost all of the casts are still coming in with plus points and will be trying to get that second cast win tonight to get into the finals. One thing that sure isn't dry here in Hawesville KY is the people. All the guys and gals here at the Hancock Coon Hunters Club have been just wonderful and the atmosphere has been exceptional. These guys have really went out of there way to put on a good coon hunt and the efforts are certainly paying off. Results from Friday night are posted below.With Saturday Night came the final night of hunting for the 2010 ACHA Little World Championship with 100 dogs entered for the weekend. Again the weather was beautiful but still very dry. Backwoods Mucho and Little Bit Stormy ,two cast winners from Friday night won their cast again on Saturday night putting them into the final four. Boggy River Chucky and MMHJ'S Festus also cast winners from Friday night did not win again on Saturday night but came in with really good scores putting them also in the final cast.
